Job Description: Position Title: Senior J2EE DeveloperLocation: Wilkes Barre, PA Status: Green Card Clearance: Public Trust Our Client has an opening for a Senior J2EE Developer in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Successful candidate must be authorized to work in the US. USPS Security Clearance requires the selected candidate to have resided in the US for the past five years and not have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days. Responsibilities include: -Working with other programmers, specialists, DBAs, and Business Systems -Analysts on assigned software projects. Working within a development and support team to enhance or modify web applications. -Preparing and recommending plans to improve software performance. -Troubleshooting system and component problems. -Supporting generally-defined system changes. -Providing production support per USPS defined SLAs. Education: Bachelors Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. Experience: 5-8 years of directly related computer programming experience that includes: -5 years of Java/J2EE experience including creation of packages, creation of procedures -3-5 years' experience with Eclipse, Struts2 (Titanium), Open Symphony, AJAX, Maven, Linux, Web Service, JavaScript, Ant, HTML, XML, SQL, HTTPS, HTTP, JSP, EJB, Websphere -Knowledge of development in Struts2 framework -Ability to work with business analysts to translate business requirements into code and bring those requirements live as business rules within the application logic.
