Job Description: JOB TITLE: Transportation Engineer II – Roadway Design EngineerLOCATION: Baltimore RESPONSILITIES: Perform a variety of tasks at the direction of a project manager relative to SHA type roadway design using Microstation and GeoPak software. Using Microstation and GeoPak software, and potentially AutoCAD Civil 3D software. Horizontal and vertical geometry -Typical section development -Pavement design -Hydraulic design including culverts, inlets, storm sewer and ditches -Erosion and sediment control design -Cross section development -Water and sewer relocation design -Storm water management design -Erosion and sediment control design -Maintenance of Traffic and Sequencing of Construction Design QUALIFICATIONS: BSCE or equivalent degree required. -EIT required, P.E. preferred. -2-5 years of applicable roadway design experience in Maryland. -Microstation and GeoPak experience required. -AutoCAD Civil 3D experience a plus. -Familiarity with AASHTO, MSHA design standards, practices and policies.
