Job Description: Position Title: Informatica EngineerLocation:Remote/Nation Wide (Falls Church, VA) Status: US Citizen Clearance: ADPI or Top Secret Job Description: The qualified individual will require the necessary experience with and an understanding of Unix and of Informatica. This is required to perform workflow/mappings to assist in troubleshooting and performance tuning of the Essence application. Candidates should possess relational database skills (DB2,Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server) as well as experience with Client tools like Repository Manager, Mapping Designer, and Workflow Manager to extract data from disparate data sources and load into ODS and Data Warehouse on an incremental basis. A possession of understanding of ETL & Data Warehousing methods and technologies (Informatica 9.5.1) in order to support the application is a plus. Be available for after-hours support to as needed to ensure high availability for Production Servers. Duties -Perform ETL & Data Warehousing methods and technologies (Informatica 9.5.1) -Oversight, analysis and implementation of advanced workflow job process design and management -Use of relational database skills (DB2,Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server) -Use of Client tools like Repository Manager, Mapping Designer and Workflow Manager to extract data from disparate data sources and load into ODS and Data Warehouse on an incremental basis -Perform Informatica administration and environment management -Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues -Research security notices and checklists and perform security modifications to applications under your purview -After hours support to ensure high availability for Production Servers for incidents and planned work Education: Technical Bachelor's Degree or related degree and/or appropriate certification required. Experience: -Requires 3+ years of technical experience which applies to software, engineering and object oriented technologies -Proficient with SQL -Proficient with industry standards for ETL & Data Warehousing methods and technologies (Informatica 9.5.1) -Relational database skills (DB2,Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server) a plus -Expertise with Client tools like Repository Manager, Mapping Designer and Workflow Manager to extract data from disparate data sources and load into ODS and Data Warehouse on an incremental basis a plus -Professional consulting experience and background required with prior Federal Government experience a plus -Innovative and analytical ability with extensive implementation experience
