Job Description: Job Description:The successful candidate will provide expert, independent services and leadership in the HP BTO Tools suite of products. Responsibilities will include developing, deploying, and providing expert support to the HP EMS tools currently in use and in planned future use at the FBI. The candidate would be involved with developing, deploying, maintaining, and upgrading applications, developing documentation (installation, configuration, administration guides, and user guides) for these applications, setting up reports, and providing general best practices guidance for the HP BTO Tools suite of products. The SME will provide expertise on an as-needed basis to all task assignments; provide expert advice and assistance in state-of-the-art software/hardware; and coordinate with contractor management and Government personnel to ensure that the problem has been properly defined and that the solution will satisfy the Government’s requirement. Qualifications: The successful candidate will have experience with multiple HP tools and the ability to reach back to expert HP support on tools that they are not as familiar with. Expertise in one or more of the following is required: HP Operations Manager/Business Service Management (OMi/BSM) HP universal Configuration Management Database System (uCMDB) HP Storage Operations Manager (SOM) Experience in/knowledge of the following is preferred: HP Network Node Manager (NNM) HP Network Automation (NA) HP Operations Manager for Windows (OMW) Minimum ten years of general experience in information systems, including eight years of specialized experience providing state-of-the-art solutions in the particular area of expertise (for newer technology, this requirement can include commiserate experience with similar products). Recognized expert in the technology being addressed.
