Job Description:

Job Title: Sr. Exchange Engineer
Location: Regular travel to Washington, DC / Martinsburg, WV / Memphis, TN will be required. Infrequent travel to other locations may be necessary.
Clearance: Must have active or recent (within 3 years) IRS OR Treasury Public Trust Clearance

JOB DUTIES
Work with the Client Technical Teams, Third Parties, Product Owners and Project Managers in a staff augmentation capacity for the implementation and migration to Microsoft Exchange 2016
-Must have active or recent (within 3 years) IRS OR Treasury Public Trust Clearance
-To act as a mid-level to senior resource for Microsoft Exchange, AD and/or other linked products
-Be able to deliver builds based on engineering standards provided by client

REQUIREMENTS
-Able to travel
-Have valid License
-Excellent communication at all levels
-Candidates with a bachelor's degree, professional experience or combination of education, professional experience and training are highly desired, but not required.†
-Able to take direction as well as give input as to best practices.

LOCATION
-Regular travel to Washington, DC / Martinsburg, WV / Memphis, TN will be required. Infrequent travel to other locations may be necessary.
-Co-location with IRS staff is preferred as it will expedite on-boarding and knowledge transfer (areas include: Washington DC, Martinsburg WV, Memphis, Houston, New Orleans, Paterson NJ, Ogden UT, Austin TX, Bethpage NY, or Atlanta, GA)

TASKS
Contactors may be asked to complete any of the below.
-Configure iLO
-Smart Array / JBOD configuration
-OS Install
-Patch / Agent / Driver Install & Configuration
-Submission of IRS change requests or tickets
-Generic Post Build (registry settings, policy scans, etc)
-Setup / Support InsightMgr
-Exchange installs
-Mailbox Migrations
-Coordination with PST installations
-Exchange configurations (such as archiving policies, RBAC, litigation hold)
-Coordinate monitoring analysis
-System testing
-Taking notes, developing documentation
-Other general Exchange and Wintel support as needed

A good candidate should have some or all of the following traits:
-Excellent Exchange 2013/2016 design, troubleshooting & administration experience
-Excellent Active Directory 2003/2008/2012 design, troubleshooting & administration experience
-Excellent Windows Server 2008 R2 / 2012 R2 build, configuration and troubleshooting. Demonstrable experience of Windows Server Core would be an advantage
-Deep understanding of Group Policy, best practices, design, use, implementation and troubleshooting
-Advanced PowerShell scripting for Windows, Exchange and AD administration, reporting and change
-Experience of Private Key Infrastructure (PKI), Active Directory Certificate Services and associated protocol standards as implemented on Windows
-Experience with SQL 2008 R2 and SQL 2012
-A strong understanding of networking concepts and technologies such as HTTP, SMTP, DNS, TCP/IP, and other web protocols, proxies and load balancers
-Experience presenting & reporting to technical and management teams
-Knowledge of VMWare Virtualization platform (Highly Desirable)
