The 2nd Regional Cyber Center is growing a team of the Army's premier VoIP and IP VTC technical experts in real-time IP networking services to provide Theater service management, Network Operations (NETOPS), and security of voice and video to support over 600,000 Army CONUS subscribers.

Seeking a VoIP administrator that will provision, secure, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and provide service management of multi-vendor VoIP technologies including:

Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM)
• Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE)
• Avaya Communications Manager
• Oracle/ACME Packet Net-Net 3000/4000


This technical expert must leverage element management, scheduling, call control, STIG compliance, and performance-monitoring tools to improve VoIP services and mitigate information assurance risk. Must have ability to organize resources and work collaboratively to meet multiple team objectives. Interact closely with customer representatives on highly advanced technical issues. Explain and present high-level technical subjects and processes related to assignments. Independently compose and deliver reports and presentations of the highest professional quality.

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

Contract Requirement:

Requires High School degree + 12 years similar experience OR an Associate's degree + 10 years related experience, OR a Bachelor's degree and 8 years related experience.

5-8 years of related systems engineering experience.

Contract Requirement:

Depending on degree obtained (please see education requirements) at least 8+ years of related experience

Must obtain CompTIA Security+ CE certification prior to starting.
Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret/SSBI-level security clearance.
Must obtain CCNA Voice or PCVE within 6 months of start.

Non-Technical Requirements:

• Must be able to work both independently and as a member of a team to set priorities and organize work to meet deadlines
• Communicate effectively in both oral and written forms with customers and office staff
• Ability to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as assigned by applicant's supervisor
• Other duties as assigned
