Job Description: Position Title: COOP/Distaster Recovery Project ManagerLocation: Washington, DC Status: US Citizen Clearance: Secret - provide continuity project management and TT&E support for CAO?s continuity sites and capabilities: -Work with the Capability Managers to develop and maintain standardized Capability Manuals (plan development and documentation). -Facilitate in regular (quarterly) Capability Manager planning and information-sharing forums. -Manage and track projects and action items relating to the continuity sites and capabilities to include working with CAO and external staff to lead projects to improve the readiness of sites and capabilities. -Assist with BC/DR inventory and tracking of equipment, ordering of supplies, documenting internal standard operating procedures, and developing and updating BC/DR contact cards and rosters. -Attend CAO, House, Legislative Branch, Executive Branch, and other working group and coordination meetings as required, assisting BC/DR by documenting actions items. -Multi-task to perform other duties as required, including technical and administrative support to other BC/DR projects and activities.? Possess a valid driver?s license to operate government vehicles in the performance oftheir continuity of operations tasks. Experience: Continuity of operations (COOP) and/or business continuity subject matter expertise with at least 3 years of experience. -Experience in project management, including setting priorities, ensuring timely completion of deliverables, and ensuring adequate staffing. -Experience interacting with senior and mid-level executives, providing guidance, consulting services, training, and facilitating working sessions or tabletop exercises. -Strong experience with document creation, management, and quality assurance, includingprofessional writing and basic graphical design. High proficiency in using Microsoft Office productsparticularly Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint- is required. -Experience working in the federal sector. -Secret security clearance preferred. Additional Skills: -Experience working at the House of Representatives or other Legislative Branch environment is a plus, but not required. -Secret clearance or ability to attain. -Continuity planning or related certification (DRII, FEMA, etc.) -Proficiency with Microsoft Access, SQL, or similar database tools.
