Job Description:

Candidates for the job are expected to be senior level personnel, and fully capable at time of hire of providing the following scope of service:

A. Technical and project leadership of all phases of the project to instantiate OBIEE services, transition user community to OBIEE, and migrate enterprise reports portfolio to OBIEE.
B. Develop, document and brief a project plan and schedule for the CDC/DSNS transition from Discoverer to OBIEE.
C. Lead the examination of reporting services requirements via engagements with enterprise stakeholders including systems owners, technical stewards, functional experts, analysts, power reports users and typical users.
D. Align stakeholder reporting service requirements with OBIEE features, options, and modules.
E. Work with existing Oracle staff (DBA’s, SA’s, Analysts) to develop an OBIEE architecture and solution to support enterprise reporting service requirements, plus support IT staff development, test and disaster redundancy activities.
F. Work with existing Oracle DBA staff in the implementation of OBIEE components and services to virtualized Linux Red Hat servers to deploy the proposed OBIEE solution.
G. Lead the process and documentation development to execute the transition of existing Discoverer user community to OBIEE.
H. Participate in review of existing portfolio of Discoverer reports leading to recommendations on best method to transition reports to OBIEE.
I. Assist existing IT development staff in transitioning to using OBIEE to fulfill Oracle EBS customization requirements.
J. Provide assistance to system trainers to develop and implement OBIEE training initiatives for system users.
K. Provide post-deployment support to the OBIEE infrastructure and user community to ensure the reliability, availability, and usability of OBIEE services.
L. Work with existing IT staff to develop OBIEE support processes including backup/restore, performance, and disaster recovery requirements are continuously fulfilled.
M. Throughout the project life, ensure that the security posture of CDC/DSNS systems and data is always high with a reporting system recommendations based on best practice information security policies.
N. Throughout the project lifecycle, manage stakeholder’s expectations and communications to ensure project success.


The following are mandatory minimum qualifications as dictated by the contract with the CDC for this position:
A. Willingness to submit to and ability to pass background investigation leading to obtaining and maintaining a US Government Public Trust Level 5 clearance.
B. Ability to pass a CDC mandated oral and written English language proficiency certification (See section 3.4)
C. At least 10 (10) years of experience with enterprise level reporting services, information systems or data analytics.
D. At least ten (10) years of in an ERP environments.
E. At least ten (10) years of experience in Oracle environments.
F. At least five (5) years of documented and in-depth experience with Oracle OBIEE
G. Documented experience of significant participation in at least one enterprise reporting service migration and transition.
H. Superior oral and written communications skills commensurate with job experience and requirements.

Desirable Personnel Qualifications
The following are desirable qualifications for subcontractor personnel on this task order:
A. Previous experience with Oracle Discoverer.
B. Previous experience with Oracle Discoverer to Oracle OBIEE migrations and transitions.
C. Previous experience in Oracle EBS systems, including reporting against inventory, acquisition and financials module.
D. Any relevant technical certifications, including Oracle certifications or PMP.
