Naval Experience Required
Shall assist in developing a master-level ISSM C-School course with content that aligns to the Commander; Naval Education and Training Command (NETC) adopted three-level instructional skill (imitation; repetition; habit) and knowledge (knowledge / comprehension; application / analysis; synthesis / evaluation) proficiency models. Specifically; the ISSM course shall be targeted to produce SKL3 (habit) and KPL3 (synthesis / evaluation) proficiency levels.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline; or the equivalent combination of education; professional training or work experience.
Minimum of 10 years as Information Systems Technician (IT) or Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) with cyber / network operational experience in a variety of PCS assignments. Assignments must have included duty as Instructor; afloat / ashore Information Assurance Manager (IAM); and Command Security Inspection and Compliance Program (CSICP) Stage I / II / III Inspection Team Member or Lead.
Must be conversant in Navy cyber / network operations and communications as they relate to the Information Security System Manager (ISSM) / IAM role; CSICP; Cyber Security programs (include daily Scan-Patch-Scan; STIG and FAM processes); Cyber Security Workforce requirements; management and maintenance of Information Systems / Risk Management Framework and Certification & Accreditation program functions (Afloat / Submarine / Ashore platform topology); expertise in Public-Key Infrastructure (PKI); expertise in Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager and Online Compliance Reporting System; Total Workforce Management System (TWMS); and; Incident Report Handling.
