Description

We are seeking an Accounts Management Specialist to create new and/or modify user accounts for electronic trial master file or eTMF applications. This position is located within the Production Data Management Division, Naval Education and Training Support Command in Norfolk VA.

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

-Installs, investigates and resolves matters of significance with computer software and hardware equipment pertaining to Corporate Enterprise Training Activity Resource Systems (CeTARS) applications to meet business needs.
-Performs troubleshooting to isolate & diagnose common system problems; document system events to ensure continuous functioning and recommend course of action and implements as approved.
-Utilizes standard corporate tools to record change and problem activities for tracking purposes.
-Analyzes inquiries, provides responses & takes action to resolve or escalates to a higher level.
-Contributes to a shared knowledge database to facilitate response consistency & to document complex issue resolution.
-Monitors customer inquiries for specific functional area, tracks progress & resolution of escalated inquiries.
-Verifies provided information, corresponding with PM and information owners to verify authorization of access providing customer service to any users who may be having difficulties with their user accounts.
-Generates & processes governance, provide account access & permissions management & adjudicate accounts management issues for the CeTARS application end user base.
-Provides customer & student data management support; conduct variety of analytical and evaluate studies related to Navy training and use of the CeTARS database; and develop a variety of Adhoc queries.
-Develops & provides draft policy & guidance on account management; provide account access & permissions management; and issues adjudication under the CeTARS program.
-Knowledge of NETC training organizations and/or the ETMF applications used and how they work; previous experience with writing DoN instructions and SOPs would be beneficial as well.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field preferred
Two or more years of experience with computer systems or networking
Experience working with computer hardware for installation and upgrades
Experience working with software installation/upgrading procedures
Experience working with file and system maintenance procedures

Other Qualifications
Microsoft Office Suite w/emphasis on Excel & Visio
Business & analytical problem solving skills with good verbal & written communication skills
Ability to work Independently; follow oral & written directions; understand & apply regulations applying to functional area & experience working with organizational functional and personnel.
Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work
Analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot systems problems
Communication skills for to communicate with support personnel, customers, and managers
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
