Job Description:

CSRA provides support services for the Training Support, Port Hueneme, CA, in support of the mission of naval Construction Training Center (NAVCONSTRACEN), Training Detachment at China Lake, the Civil Engineer Corps Officer School (CECOS) and the Center for Seabees, Facilities Engineering (CSFE) and Engineering Duty Officer School (EDO) at Port Hueneme, CA.

We are seeking a Windows System Administrator with a Secret Clearance and Security+ce certification.

Essential Job Functions:
Installs, investigates and resolves matters of significance with computer software and hardware equipment.
Responsible for applications dealing with the overall operating system including file maintenance routines, networks and system software.
Provides local support and maintenance to Windows 7 and above / 2008 Server systems.
Complies with standardized support procedures for reducing client / server downtime.
Supports, configures and maintains client workstations, network and audio video equipment, including installations and maintenance, managing system security and updating software.
Installs cabling, maintains inventory of computer equipment, drivers, software and patches for equipment and communicates with manufactures to replace warranty parts and components.
Analyzes, researches and recommends hardware, software and emerging technology for use.
Utilizes standard corporate tools to record change and problem activities for tracking purposes.
Requires knowledge of Network and System support responsibilities to include knowledge and experience of Office 2010, printers, scanner, projectors and other video equipment.

Qualifications


Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field preferred
Two or more years of experience with computer systems or networking
Experience working with computer hardware for installation and upgrades
Experience working with software installation/upgrading procedures
Experience working with file and system maintenance procedures

Other Qualifications
Experience in Windows 7, Server 2008, and Office 2010
DoD IAT Level II GSEC or Security+ce or SSCP or CCNA-Security
Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work
Analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot systems problems
Communication skills for to communicate with support personnel, customers, and managers
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
