Position Title: Sr. Manager Desktop Support Services
Location: Towson, MD
Status: US Citizen or Green Card
The Senior Manager for Desktop Support will:
-Provide technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned projects,
-Supervise assigned staff.
-Develop technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.
-Review future project requirements and develops strategies for future work.
-May also perform high level technical services on assigned tasks.
-Conduct planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload.
-Attend customer meetings and serves as primary client liaison.
-Interact with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client.
-Coordinate development of deliverables and products.
-Ensure quality assurance of project deliverables.
-Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology.
-Participate in special projects as required.
-Bachelors Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
-Professional certification (PMP) preferred.
-ITIL certification is also highly preferred.
To be considered for this role, candidates must have 10-12 years of related experience with proven success managing desktop support teams. The ideal candidate will have a background as a desktop engineer. All candidates must have proven project management skills and the demonstrated ability to develop short and long term plans and the ability to execute to those plans.
