Job Description: Position Title: Data Center ManagerLocation: Northern, VA Status: US Citizen Clearance: Secret Position Description: Responsible for the day to day operations of a large government data center and overseeing all operations of the data center. Respond to system administrator requests for racking and maintaining server equipment and environmental aspects of the data center. Respond to data center outages as needed and escort maintenance technicians. Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field or equivalent expereince Additional Skills: a. 4-6 years of experience with installing and maintaining computer data center hardware and cabling b. Maintenance tasks such as managing and installing servers, running category 6 and fiber cables, and developing detailed rack diagrams c. Experience working in large data centers and environment experience a plus (HVAC, generators, UPS, etc.)
