Job Description: Our client is seeking a Senior Oracle Developer in the Washington, DC area. The work will be done on-site in the Navy Yard.The US Navy’s PEO Aircraft Carriers focuses on the design, construction and delivery, and life-cycle support of all aircraft carriers and the integration of IT systems into aircraft carriers. Our client provides US Navy’s PEO Carriers with operations and maintenance support of their Integrated Digital Environment (IDE), a comprehensive collaboration solution designed to electronically enable day-to-day business operations. Our client is seeking an Oracle certified software developers with experience in PL/SQL and Java to support the US Navy’s PEO Carriers Integrated Digital (IDE) system and the next generation Technology Refresh of IDE. Qualified candidates must possess a Top Secret Clearance and minimum Security+ CE certification Essential Job Functions ·Implementing the data model required by the application ·Creating schema objects and implementing rules for data integrity ·Full systems life cycle development ·Documentation of new and existing applications, processes, and procedures ·Assisting in creation of programming environment for new development projects ·Assisting in maintaining proper Support environment for developing and maintaining applications ·Writing server-side PL/SQL or Java subprograms and client-side procedural code that use SQL statements ·Creating the application interface with the chosen development tool ·Develop secure code that enables user to Browse, create, and update schema objects ·Develop and execute SQL statements ·Edit and debug PL/SQL program units ·Manipulate and export data ·Top Secret security clearance ·Possess security certifications (IAT Level I certified or higher; CISSP or equivalent desired) ·7-10 years of experience in Application Development, Data Center Operations or other hands-on technical expertise in a client-server environment ·In-depth knowledge of SQL DML, scripting, UNIX/LINUX and any other platform software. ·Demonstrated expertise working with Java, Oracle Enterprise Database 11gR2 or higher, UNIX/LINUX, PL/SQL. ·Experience working with internet, web, application and network security techniques ·Experience working with relevant operating system security (Windows, Solaris, Linux, etc.) ·Knowledge of SQL DML, scripting, UNIX/LINUX and any other platform software. ·WebLogic. Oracle HTTP Server, WebCenter and Content Management systems experience are plusses.
