Position Title: Systems Analyst
Location: Columbia, MD

Essential Job Functions:
-Acts as a liaison between business users and technologists to understand the business requirements, translate them to functional requirements and author system documentation.
-Includes analysis of business and user needs, understand business requirements and author system documentation to communicate complex and technical information.
-Work with technical staff to author system design documents, technical guides, application/service specifications and user guides within the SDLC lifecycle.
-Manages the process for application minor enhancements, e.g. determining requirements, development of use case testing, coordination of testing with users, reporting on testing.
-Ensures effective system documentation is created and maintained to support delivery of training of staff and clients in the proper use of business system.
-Perform peer reviews of documents and provide status information to management.
-Participates in daily and periodic reviews of business systems and make recommendations accordingly.
-Model requirements to depict both current and desired state.
-Perform organization, workflow and support analysis tasks.
-Assist with the review and analysis of all web applications.
-Work on systems requirements with the government and other contractors for deployment of new web capabilities.
-Recommend collaboration tool usage based on documented needs for future use.
-Support testing and problem resolution.
-Ability to interact and collaborate in a large team environment
-Requirements management and documentation skills with keen attention to detail
Requires BS/BA degree.
Requires 8-10 years experience.
