Job Description: Position Title: Maximo System EngineerLocation: Arlington, VA Status: US Citizen Clearance: Secret This position is supporting the Maximo application as a Maximo System Admin Engineer, responsible for deploying and configuring the Maximo (IBM) enterprise asset management application within the test and production environments, including SDLC improvements to Maximo and its configurations. -Ensure the availability, performance, security, and operations of all business systems/applications. -Use the Enterprise Configuration Control Board (ECCB) process to approve major changes and upgrades, and to schedule deployments -Provide Tier 2 and 3 support to include system administration, application configuration, user account management and application support to the customers. -Provide database administration and support for the various databases. -Maintain application Certification and Accreditation (C&A) documentation and Authority to Operate. -Provide system performance metrics to measure the availability, performance, and security of all business systems and applications. -Perform problem management to identify potential issues and/or identify efficiencies to be gained within applications. -Ensure mission essential/support designated business systems in Continuity of Operations (COOP). -Plan (COOP) readiness status for both source and target systems at all times. -Provide application support for all COOP activities. -Provide configuration and release management of applications. Skills:Ô -This position if focused on Maximo systems administration in an engineering role, responsible for the back-end of this environment, as well as standing up and developing new instances of this environment or development of Maximo tool with a focus is on the engineering aspects of supporting Maximo development, configuration improvements, etc. support to the customer, improvements to the environment, and etc. -Must have excellent communication skills (oral and writing). Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience. 5-8 years of related systems engineering experience. Experience/Requirements: experience in DoD environment preferred, experience with OSD WHS or Pentagon customer highly desired. Minimum 3-5 years past Maximo experience in an engineering and Dev/Test environment is required. IBM Maximo certification preferred. Secret clearance required. Must be 8570 Compliant on day 1 (Security+ CE, CISSP or like certification meeting security minimum requirement).
