Job Description: Secret Clearance Required Security+ CE Certification Required Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as necessary. Fully Funded, Immediated Fill As a Sysman Application Administrator for the 2nd Regional Cyber Center you are expected to provision, test, and monitor policy changes for systems. Provide Tier II support to CONUS NEC's. Initiate and record actions through the ticketing system provided. DUTIES: . Provision, test, and monitor policy changes for system . Correct system and application problems identified in event logs . Review and monitor event logs and user access logs. - Provide routine system updates and apply patches. . Identify basic network and system fault corrections . Provide account management services to create, modify, and delete administrator and user accounts . Respond to automatically generated trouble tickets for changes in status and assign them to the appropriate analyst. . Monitor, maintain, and develop scripts for automated processing. Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience. Contractual Requirements: Requires High School degree + 7 yrs similar experience OR an Associate’s degree + 5 years related experience, OR a Bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience. Qualifications: 0-2 years of related systems engineering experience. Contractual Requirements: Depending on degree obtained (refer to Education field, above) minimum of 3 years related experience required. Technical Skills (Preferred): . Experience with administration and configuration of Symantec AntiVirus server and clients . Experience with administration and configuration of SQL Non-Technical Skills: . Communicate effectively in both oral and written forms with users and office staff. . Work independently and as a team member; set priorities and organize work to meet deadlines. . Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted during the course of the work day. . Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as necessary. . Ability to obtain and maintain Secret-level security clearance. Certifications Required: . Security+ CE to start . MCTS 70-640, 70-642, 70-400, 70-401, or 70-243 within 6 months
